Catching A Life Time Of Moments
In moments I found
a life time of comfort,
glances, smiles, winks,
thumbs up, peace signs,
hugs, true vibes,
as seconds accumulate
into a life time,
I recommend you filter
your memories, best
you can, your instincts
absorbs the bad and will
react if needed,
it's the dwelling (I
am very familiar with
that), unable to get over
it, replaying the bad,
all my wisdom understands
betray, yet accepting it
is another story,
I can't allow myself
to simply get used to
seeing pain, hate, injustice,
I won't do that, it isn't about
innocence it's about a stand,
tolerating wrong would poison
my soul, so there's no room for
negotiations here,
catch all the beautiful my friends, all
you see that turns your heart and
your senses on, that comfort you,
save them always for a
bad day, when you need to
think of some thing good to get
you by, when the pillow wont rest you,
save the smiles, the waves,
the winks, the tease, the
art, the music, the love,
the sex, the pictures,
the words,
save it,
savor it,
live it.
