Many a true word said in jest
Its all been said before~
I think history is about to repeat its self
Once more as its done before~
Living on the moon they suggest
If man on earth was only clever enough to know~
We have done just this before before in time
Before we began here the longest time ago~
I feel further back than memory
We had a home in space so fine~
And we treated it as we do earth
Our space home planet so far back in time~
But with doing as weve done right here
I guess old habbits never seem to change~
Think what we could do with what weve got
If some attitudes we could simply rearrange~
The money alone to make this move
By the powers that set themselves to be~
Just think how that could make it all so grand
On this planet of pure air and land and sea~
But greed and many other things
Just like they have done before~
When they had us leave a planet home
And move to this planets floor~
With the change we well then could have
Put the past behind to ease our mind~
And start again as well could have been
From what we did in time~
Here right now on our beautiful earth
They talk of leaving once again~
Rather than clean up the mess thats been made
Now is not that real strange~
If only man was as clever as he proffesses to be
And clean up his now own backyard ~
By changing a few attitudes in life
Would that be all that hard ~
