Semper Fi
He wore 3 Marine stripes
She had two Navy stripes
He had seen combat
She had seen none
They had been separated
She was young and wild
When he had to go to war
Now re-united
Sitting in the old café
Smoking cigarettes
Pouring down the coffee
Laughing, they attempted smoke rings
He formed a large O with his lips
A floating smoke O pops in the air
She took a drag on her cigarette
Sent a smoke O to interlock with his
She stuck her finger thru them
She lifted her glass, tilted her head
Took a drink, and let the smoke curl
She liked to hang out with the boys
She said she could do anything better
Drinking, fighting, and swearing, anything
He could do she could do better
He laughed, she snarled back
Like a kitty cat with a mood
She knew she could push them
He teased and taunted
She was not to be appeased
She threw a right followed by a left
He winced from the pain
A smirk on his face he defended
He couldn't believe his sister
With a blacken eye
And a bloody nose
He laughed once more
And exited the door
He yelled Semper Fi
