Godly Maturity
I once thought I was a joke,
Anytime as they would see;
Snide remarks as they spoke,
Trying to make fun of me.
It made my life feel sour,
Wishing that it would cease;
While I counted each hour,
For finding an inner peace.
A torture through the years,
While developing in time;
Causing anxiety and fears,
Feeling as if it was a crime.
It made me feel so depressed,
Anger desire for paying back;
Causing me for to be obsessed,
Punch out who gives me flack.
But God had another goal,
When He took careful aim;
Shot an arrow into my soul,
For making His rightful claim.
