 Your Despair
Your despair

You try to be brave
Have courage and hope
To move from this place
From here where there is no light
Just blackness and despair
You have now given your soul to me
You will no know fear that
Knows no bounds, you run for
Mercy as despair laughs in its
Echo of your pain to ridicule
And scorn, you give yourself to hopelessness
So your senses become silent
In a world that's gone so cold
All around is futile, black
Just an existence, a nothing
In your search for peace
You gave to me, your misery
The power to take you and
Your hopes and let me
Devour you as you frantically search
So hard, so bold, for what?
I now rule, I have your life
In my hands, you don't fight
You can't because
You're empty and void
A nothing
Never realising
This all could be
Nothing more than a mistake
By you who needed so much
To have hope but instead gave up to me
Your despair
You fool
