My RescuersMy head was spinning wildly my thoughts had gone insane how could I overcome this? would my life be the same again? Life offered me no options no answers came to me stuck with this major challenge to cope with I couldn't see The outcome of my problem was well out of my hands I cried and tried to make it right but he never understands Deep within my soul a cry as nothing could I see sobs left me as I shook that day as despair took hold of me. I screamed for someone to help me not knowing where my plea had gone a shrivelled wreck was what I was now my sadness would stay for so long. Then all at once a calmness came my tears they stopped their flow I become empowered that day as the answer I came to know. When I cried from the depth of my soul when hope and faith had gone when I'd lost myself into the depths that's when they came along They came with wings enfolded to carry and comfort me they lifted me within their wings from despair they cut me free They are the sweetest angels who have came to rescue me they heard my cries, they knew my pain from my challenge they set me free I live each day in guidance their by me as my guides I trust in them to get me through I'm strong with them by my side (c) TRIZIA 2006 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
