Skinned alive _

Tell tale signs, itchy feet, blood ties rebound
elastic emotions new moons inspire.
Skin peels then flakes from old growth shaven, pink
flashes of nuance, freshened inner fire.

Siblings pull back from the challenge uttered
children regroup, their senses sharply keen.
They surround the father with fresh essence
of sacred thought shed, in tears never seen.

Polar shifts stretch beliefs of all fashions
pampered then buried, they move with the ground.
Bent childhood traits return with a vengeance
the body may heal old fears always found.

Friendships reform, others peel off
then bled, let loose, unburdened, cast aside.
Easy over done, regrouped in patterns
shimmered presence, subtle movement, pre-loved.
