One more day
Be gentle oh dear friend of mine
As you pass your thoughts to me
Your telling me just what's gone wrong
And where you'd rather be
Please help me here to understand
What's happening to you
I am searching frantically
But words are becoming few
My being is hurting badly
As I feel I am losing time
Your tears become like acid drops
To my heart, my soul and mind.
Two of us are in this friend
This action you thinks your's alone
And I can't face if I lose you
Just how can will I atone
As I have not been strong enough
To help you carry on
Does this mean that your were right?
And indeed that I was wrong?
Just think awhile dear friend
Of mine, don't forget that I am here
I hear your pain, but do you hear mine?
Do you really know my fear?
Please give me just a little time
Here what I have to say
Let's just try to hold on in
I ask just for one more day.
