The Special Person
The Special Person
Trust is something
We need to earn
How to do this
I hope to learn
But what if always
Each time I try
Something happens
Causing me to cry
How long do I try?
How long do I go on?
Could this be it?
I have tried for so long
There must be a truth
A person with worth
Who I can trust
One blessed at birth
I will go on
Until the day
I can open my heart
To a person who will stay
They will be special
To me they will always be
A person I've longed for
A person for me
