The Final Word
Humans seem to always know,
Which direction wanting to go;
Flying as straight as a bird,
But God has the final word.
For God really has the final say,
In our lives each and every day;
Where we go or what we might,
Knowing what we think is right.
But the Lord is the one to judge,
Impartial not holding a grudge;
For His rationale is fair and just,
As judgment comes on our lust.
We make plans but He decides,
Only carried our if He guides;
And if the Lord does not concur,
He will intervene for to deter.
In your plans take time to share,
With the our Father in prayer;
And if you do this noble deed,
Then you surely will succeed.
