JUST AN HOUR

Better take a shower
Only have an hour
Before I go to work
When my life will lurk

In the people that are there
They love me and they care
I love them back
As they take up the slack

Of working when no one wants to
Awake all night, it haunts you
Takes a strong person to live at night
When sleeping's is the way that's right

You say you don't sleep well at home
Well, maybe there you shouldn't roam
There, you should feel guilty
Because it hurts the love in me

The love that stops
The love that goes
The love that drops
The fantasies she knows

Fantasies about a life
Where I am your wife
But you're too selfish for that
You'd rather sleep with your cat

Than with me
While I am free
With just an hour
Better go take a shower.
