God heard Abel's cry,
As blood fell on the hands of Cain,
God's eyes filled with tears and pain,
Taken by the grim reaper,
Cain asked am I my brother's keeper?
Now face to face with the wrath of God,
Cain has become the man of Nod,
Hatred had blackened his heart,
Now a patron of the dark,
There must have been mercy in God,
For the man of Nod.
I believe there was a light,
That shined in the night,
Maybe because of the prayer's of Eve,
Maybe Cain started to believe,
It seems as if God spared the life,
He let Cain find a mate ,and a wife,
He let him build a city,
The man of the sod,
This is the story of the man of Nod.
He once was a wanderer,,spared from the rod,
God must have found mercy for the man of Nod.
He had Abel's blood on His hand,
I am talking about a man,
That must have lived a life of pain.
A wandering man,,,named Cain..
He must have found God's mercy..
I believe,
Maybe it was the prayers of Eve,
Maybe somehow He rose from the flame,
And God gave mercy to a man named Cain.
