The Willow TreeThe Willow Tree So magnificent are the drooping arching branches of the holy willow How for so many years beneath it's shadow life went on disturbing it not sounds recorded in ever leaf and branch in every circle of bark like an ancient record Why does your stance bow? so low, has life shown much sorrow are the past visions that heavy? Or is this your proud stance your chosen view one of selected choice in the event of time The willow tree is always a joy to the beholder with its drooping branches it bows It speaks its identity the Holly Willow Tree tree of Princes tree of Kings so Royal so Majestic and proud (c) TRIZIA 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
