When walking down a street somewhere
I often see a soul~
That has been through all those hard times
And yes more often they are old~
The past they have lived all there to see
Written upon their face so clearly~
And how I feel the the pain I see
Their ongoing love of those that they love dearly~
Older souls with love that will never end
They carry on and always giving~
To all those they love so very much
With hearts so fond and always forgiving~
Never concidering themselves at all
They are the same way every day~
Always doing all they can
For those they love in every way~
How much I would love to give a hug away
But thats not the done thing it is true~
How wonderful they really are
For keeping on and always doing as they do ~
