As I sit here with tears filling my eyes,
I try to find the words to convince you to stay..
I try so hard not to smother you with my unconditional
love, so I backed away to give
you a chance to breathe..in the mean time, I'm constantly on
my knees, asking the lord to please let you be the one...
I'm so sick and tired of feeling lonesome
when I met you, the sun became angry, simply because my
smile out lasted its shine. The moon became jealous,
because of the remarkable radiant glow you'd given me. And the stars were furious,
from staring at the twinkle in my eye..You made me feel, what it felt like,
to feel like a woman again....you gave me something I'd never had, a best friend..
and I hate to think that its all coming to an end....what can do, what can I say,
to convince you that I'll love you forever and always...
waiting on the day, for you to stop by...and sign your name across my heart..
because yours, has already been sewn across mine from the start...
you're all I want...no-one else will do...because my heart refuses to love anyone
else besides you..
