Moments when our child
was laid in our arms
For the first time
Smiled
Walked
Hugged us
Graduation
Friends
Kisses
Love
Marriage
Growth
A day that someone
called you, their hero
A gentle pat on the back
A strong shake from the hand
of your hero
A smile
A Moment
Just a flash of time
Never to be seen again
But it was those times
That make up the memories
of cherished moments
That make you smile
That make you know
It has been
Well worth the trip.
