Have you ever known the end
Before you ventured out?
Have you ever had so much
But ended up without?
That's the hard reality
Which breaks your spirit down
An unwise move can change your fate
To bring an endless frown
But place your trust upon the Word
Which never leads you wrong
The Lord is our Hiding Place
Through strife HE makes us strong
Keep your eyes upon that Cross
Where on our Lamb was slain
By HIS death are we released
Our lives were bought by pain
Don't hesitate to turn to Him
When all seems lost and gone
There is comfort in the thought
There'll be a break before the dawn
