Some people look to their horoscope
To guide them and as a way to cope
Still others go to have their palms read
They believe in what the astrologer said
To some people, it makes a lot of sense
But in reality, it is a bunch of nonsense
Yet people get so wrapped up in it all
But they are headed for a big downfall
The following is not an actual situation
It serves as a warning worth consideration
Only God knows what the future has in store
He has the power to change lives and restore
A man learns about what his future will hold
So he makes plans, believing what he was told
His wife finds out, but he won't change his mind
Suddenly his plans fail and he is really in a bind
He gambles all their life savings away
Then his wife kicks him out one day
Now the kids do not have a father
But no one seems to care or bother
The rest of the family ends up on the street
The kids long for life once again to be sweet
Then one day they arrive at a rescue mission
Now they are free from their life like a prison
Someone introduces them to a special Friend
One who will always be with them to the end
His name is Jesus and they learned why He came
Since trusting in Him, their life is not the same
The mother is training for a wonderful new job
The kids have made new friends and no longer sob
The father has sought help and turned his life around
Now they are back together as a family, safe and sound
