Those that look back and shake their heads~
At past times when they were younger then
And todays heros then were babies in their beds~
Back when life was'nt in such a hurry
To get so many things then done~
Slow and easy was the theme
And many problems then were won~
Things have simply more than changed
Over the years its true~
Cowboys then they did it all
Never just sang about things they do~
No disrespect for any but
Those good old boys they knew~
How to go about so much
And then do the things they'd do~
Men were men back in that time
Not out to prove a thing~
They just went about so much back then
Long gone that familier ring~

Took many a leaf out of their books
