Father
I thank you
For blessing me
With arms open wide
You stood waiting for me
To find my way back to you
It mattered not what I had done
Nor how far I had fallen from you
With arms open wide you let me come home
With arms open wide you were always there
Waiting for me to draw on your strength
Watching over my life each day
When I ran back in your arms
You welcomed my spirit
Guided my footsteps
Opened my heart
Saved my soul
And blessed
