THE TRAVELING LIFELONG BUSH POET

 I'm Often sad
I've traveled all or most of my life
The things I've seen I would not tell~
As not a lot in life have traveled as much
For they in different situations dwell~
But within all my getting around
I still see too often the same sight~
Married men who work in businesses
Giving position all and a marriage in plight~
The originality is to provide for those you love
Have enough in order to survive~
Keeping all ones loved ones happy and content
And keeping love and care alive~
I know the world needs big business
But I as well know a family needs love and time~
Money might seem to be God on earth
But it's never been that in mine~
I see ever so successful men
That have given all they've got~
And unhappily married and the children pay
They just say , oh that's my lot~
But responsibility comes with love
We reap what we sow it's true~
And I see ever so many little children pay
For daddy was too busy to pay his due~
When we leave this earth right here
To where ever it is we go~
We don't take fortunes or anything else
Only the love we knew and know~
It often saddens me ever so
When I see this in life as I do~
And they are all so very important
Would laugh at my words it's true~
But little do they stop to think
In no time on earth at all~
And when they really need their love
They'll be nobody there to call~
Money cannot buy real love
It's just a big game of monopoly~
But love , real love , from those that love
Is the earths most valuable commodity~
