that's what I will do
in every form
in every way

to keep you safe

my passionate lover
my loyal friend
my prideful father
so little
so dependent
a baby boy of innocense
the giggle, the grin
of the greatest joy
I have ever looked upon
in my eyes you can do no wrong
my boyfriend, my husband
my mate, my better half
how I treasure your life
just as you do mine
this life built together
just like brick to mortar
we have stood the test of time
to my soul mate
thinkers on the same wave
distance nor time
diminishes what has been built
what in true friendship never dies
in joy and forgiveness
