The sound of his voice still lingers,
So deeply, inside her soul somewhere,
bringing her day and night, more pain
And sorrow, that she can hardly bare,
Haunting her all the time, anywhere
She goes, everywhere, no matter the place,
Reaching the shadows await, and steal
Themselves, until, she captures his face
The days of yore are now burning memories,
Because it's his love that keeps her just going,
And keeps her alive, his love etched upon
Her heart and soul, forever and ever, still thriving;
The madness of all this years without him,
Has brought into her world, so much suffering and sorrow,
Robbing her sometimes of so many things,
but he really loved her for herself, and that's all she knows
Somehow she'll make it; she'll live no matter
What comes or happens, today or tomorrow,
and those things she'd promised him, she'll keep them
for him, in spite of all, her tears and sorrow.
She's lived through so many days, filled of scorching thunders
And rain, and then they were all those other days,
In between, when she has been rewarded with radiant sunshine
Just sent for her, with all his love, to light up forever her way.
