Come Back to the Lord
Come back to the Lord,
Even if you have ignored;
His willingness to forget,
Everything that you regret.
Unfaithfulness angers Him,
Causing Him to feel grim;
But He is willing to forgive,
In peace and harmony to live.
Just admit that you rebelled,
In His Word and not dwelled;
Idolatry in many other things,
That earthly pleasure brings.
As unfaithful children stray,
When tempted as you disobey;
Forgetting to whom you belong,
Allowing Satan to be strong.
But there is hope for you yet,
Through salvation you can get;
If you take the time this lent,
Ask forgiveness as you repent.
