My Heaven Upon EarthAs I watch the sunshine fading At the end of a beautiful day~ And I sit on front steps giving thanks For the love of my Tracy May~ I get up and I walk slowly inside And there you are with love and pride~ You walk to me and give me a hug True love slowly takes a stride~ Theres no hurry to prove to anyone How you and I we feel~ For both of us we know within That our love is so true and real~ With endless trust and confidence We will never be lonely ever again~ And our love is so stronger than anything Come sunshine or come rain~ I fall inlove with you every single day Every day's a dream come true~ Every single day I can't believe That you feel the same way too~ I am so whole I feel I'll never age And you will always be my teenage queen~ We look back on love so grand Since we met love is everywhere we've been~ Sunsets they may come and go But each day the sun again does shine~ Because my heaven upon earth is here with me now And forever you will be mine~ Terrence michael Sutton Copyright 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
