From the Heart Through the Pen

So many thoughts
That I want to get down on paper
So many feelings I have
Inside overwhelming me
Don't know what I'm going to do
She's so funny
And thinks that
It's because of her
Wouldn't she be surprised
To know that it's because of you
A love like ours
Could only be surreal
But seriously
This one so true
We actually made history

I went out tonight
So ready for the night life
Leaving with thoughts of her
On my mind
Glancing around
Who knew
That my eyes would find
The woman of my dreams
The leading lady
Of my fantasies
Now In Her Eyes
Is where I drown
And not a soul can save me
Now I'm walking out
Into reality
My sweet lady beside me
And behind me
Left are her and our memories
Now they are nothing but history

Cold it may seem
But she being the first to leave
Never left him free
It did nothing but imprison him
She made him believe
That no one could compete
He could never get enough
His heart he thought
She surely did complete
Love mixed with pain
And obsession
His heart was still in her possession
She was the object of his affection
Now here's his chance
Just to be free
It's sad to say
And sad to see
All we know
Are the sides to his story
