I'VE HELPED
I've helped many men
Gave birth to their children
I've been their friend
So why don't they see
The precious soul that
Lives in me
Why do they take
Use me up
Why do they forsake
They go away
Hurt me so
When will one stay
When one is here
I'm so alive
It seems so clear
When one's away like now
I feel so unsure
I wonder how
It could ever be
That one man
Would be forever with me.
