 My immortal blood
I hurt myself today,
Just to see if i still feel,
I discovered it doesn't hurt anymore,
That physical pain is no longer real,
In my head,
That's where im feeling,
The dark captivity,
That's where it's bleeding,
The pain swims,
Through my veins,
Carried by the blood vessels,
That belong to no scientific name,
That no medicine can help,
What no eternal optimist can see,
What my imortal blood,
Is doing to me,
It lives there all the time,
Turning my insides a delierious blue,
A place of never an untresspassed sanctity,
But in a place just seen through,
It washes and cleanses,
It drains the energy within,
Using the electricity of my breath,
Creating soleminity to win,
Unbroken continuity this mental toture,
Dancing on the coals of my buring mind,
The flames are all i have to breathe now,
But that my immortal blood no-one will ever find.
