Resolutions? I Don't Think So
Every year that goes by
I make Resolutions,
None of them, seem to stick
Making none, would be the solution.
I always promise myself
The same things, every single year,
To exercise and quit smoking
Promises echo, in my ears.
Resolutions? I don't think so
Not this year, I guess,
I hate making promises, just to break
Not making any, would be best.
