I Am Homesick
I vaguely remember
Who I really am.
Bright, flowered fields,
Blowing in the wind,
On a bright, balmy day,
I lived with Him, my Father.
I am a child of God
Sent off to school
To prove to Him
I will follow the rules.
It is really lonely here.
Not many understand
the purpose of this
human journey.
I find that it's best
to hide this knowledge.
For people basking in their blame
don't appreciate my Joy game.
