The girl with the smile
and sweet gentle ways-
today will explode
with laughter and play.
The girl with blue eyes
and soft golden hair-
today will just live
her life without care.
The girl with a spark
and quick clever mind-
today will enjoy
her friends- very kind.
The girl with a dream-
and future so bright-
today will feel buzz
and fizzle and light.
The girl with a heart
holding musical beat-
today will dance life
in time- on her feet.
The girl with the smile
and beautiful ways-
today will enjoy
another birthday!
