SHUT DOWN
Quit writing poetry for three weeks
Couldn't decide what to do
Keep my poetry only for me
Or go and mail it to you
So many variables in this life
And I find it hard to decide
Should I go this way, or maybe that
Taking a roller coaster ride
This poetry helps me
Decipher it all
It sets a mind free
Must be my call
Can turn it off
For months and years
Then inspired
It reappears
My guy should have been you
And you have to be cold
Shut down poetry too
Just go back to old.
