My Life In Words

Bronco Riding is only for the Strong

Myspace Layouts
I saw this beautiful horse I so much wanted to ride,
His structure warned me he was a bronco,
I took a deep breath all fear I wanted to hide.

His eyes seemed so angry, yet I knew he could be mine,
So I slowly walked toward him hoping no one would see,
The fear in my heart, the strength I had to find.

He seemed so daring as I settle into the saddle, then,
He became restless and began to slam me here and there,
I prayed Dear God let this horse know that I am his friend.

At that time as I held on for dear life I was hoping that
nobody did stare,
Steam came from his nostrils I saw with my eyes through
a glare.

I slid in the saddle from side to side, I bounced up and
down as I held the rein,
I wanted to scream but with pride I didn't want anyone to
know the pain.

Is my life over? is this the end? This bronco doesn't
care,
There are people gathering all around now, to stare.

Tears streamed down my face I was as embarressed as I
could get,
Then after only a few minutes of agonizing riding
the manager came by and unplugged it.
