With deep sorrow for all my sins
I seek comfort from scriptures within
My worn-out bible provides for me
A promised way to my God's mercy
I can't help the tears that fall
Towards my Savior I humbly crawl
I pray for my family so far away
That on God their eyes will stay
Recollecting all wrongs of my past
With tears flowing and face downcast
My soul seeks the Lord's blessed words
I strive to strengthen my heart's cords
With peace of the Holy Spirit's flow
As a child of God I know I'll grow
More in love with HIM each day
While I walk on HIS sacred way
