~THE SIG BOX~

Alone in her room she suddenly awoke
An angel appeared to her and spoke
Imagine a child not fully grown
She could have said no, we wouldn't have known
To this virgen girl barely in her teens
Perhaps at the tender young age of fifteen
The question took her quite by surprise
But she knelt at once with lowered eyes
Her faith in Christ calmed her fears
At once she felt older than her years
No hesitation made her pause in a reply
As she looked sincerely in the angel's eye
The answer flowed like a breath of air
From her trembling lips in a little prayer
*"May it be to me as you have said!"
Then the angel left her to return to bed
How she told Joseph remains untold
Definately her faith made her bold
All sorts of thoughts passed through his head
What was he to do, they were not wed
Another dear angel to Joseph came
In a strange dream proudly to proclaim
"It is as the young virgin told
A blessed son you'll be privilaged to hold!"
So this started the wonderful tale
The repurcussions did not fail
What the good Lord had begun
Continued with Mary the chosen One
