My Favourite Bush GoolashRaining cats and dogs as it does A body needs a nice warm dish~ When it comes home in out of it A warm hot feed is what we wish~ Well thats when make my goolash And it goes something like this~ And after you cook and try it Cooking this again you'll never miss~ I take two great amounts of fine mince meat And put it on to cook~ As well as a pot of rice And I don't need no book~ I as well cook up a pot of cubed beef And get it nice and brown~ Get myself two tins of tomato soup And a tin of tomato pieces down~ When all is cooked I mix them all And stir them nice and thick~ Add a few things you like to taste Now this lot really does the trick~ It fills a plate so deep and large Make sure you'v not visitors on the day~ As you won't get hardly any at all It soon will all go away~ you'll love the taste you'll love the smell Before it leaves the stove~ Ive cooked it for most of my life And will be always it's true by jove~ Terrence Michael Sutton Copyright 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
