For A Little While
At least for a little while I can be free,
but when reality claims hold of me again,
it'll crush my wings and I'll plummet down,
back to the sea of bleeding tears.
But until then, I'll fly free
into the realms of fantasy.
We all need a place to relieve the weight
Take off from the pain open up fantasies gate.
Show me a flower, dried and shriveled,
and I will give thanks for the seeds it will bear.
Show me the storm clouds, and I will lift my eyes
to the heavens, and watch for the sun.
Today I am thankful for God's grace.
