We Are Not Our Morals
We are not our morals,
we are not our values,
we are not our beliefs
that we so desperately want to cling to ---
We are not the rules we have been taught
as children,
neither are we the sanctions we received
for breaking the rules ---
We are not our laws,
we are not our rituals,
we are not our religious services,
either ---
We are the Soul that lives within ---
Once we set aside our false sense
of security ---
Then the Soul will be just as plain
to see!
