with me,

Thanks for longing to spend
quality time with me,

And thanks for making it possible
for me to have a relationship
with You ---

Through Your Son Jesus Christ!

And thanks for equipping me
with the tools I need
to serve You,

Thank You for using me in spite
of my many weaknesses,
my many imperfections ---

And thank You even for convicting
me,
for disciplining me
when I need it ---

Thank You for withholding
those things
that are harmful to myself
and others,

Thank You for knowing what's
best for me
even when I don't ---

Thank You for desiring to be
the center of my life,
the center of my universe,

Thank You for insisting that I
keep You first,
jealously protecting our relationship ---

And I thank You again for desiring
an intimate relationship
with me!
