~My Pen Won't Write~
(Rhyming Couplets)
My pen won't write
And there's no light
I scratch it with all my might
But still it doesn't write.
I got me some white
Paper tonight
So I can write
But my pen doesn't write.
What a night!
This is my plight
Pen! Pen! Just write
And bring me light.
My pen won't write
In the dark or in the light
And I can't see right
'Cause now is the night
I scratch it with all my might
On top of my paper white
I'll try and I'll try it right
Until my pen again writes.
