Thank You For Loving Me
Thank You for loving me
in spite of it all ---
Thank You for loving me
in spite of my sins,
my disobedience,
my unfaithfulness
and even my pride ---
Thanks for convicting me,
for forewarning me
of the consequences
of the price that I must
pay for my sins,
And thank You for forgiving me
of my sins,
Thank You for sending Your Son
to suffer punishment on my behalf
so I may be reconciled with You ---
Thanks for loving me enough
to want me to spend forever with You,
And thanks for empowering me
to win souls to Jesus
so that they too may experience
Your Unconditional Love and Grace,
So that they too may spend forever
with You!
Thank You for loving me in spite
of my sinfulness,
my lack of faith even ---
And thank You for not counting
my sins against me!
