HE'S NOT HERE

There is no TV blaring
He won't go get testosterone
With him I am not sharing
Because I am alone

The sports channel can
Pass me by
He doesn't understand
Why I cry

I sit here in the quiet
Clocks tick, birds move about
Without all the riot
Of the simple stuff that's his clout

Maybe I should go away
Move from my security here
Should it be this very Friday
He can go on home to there

I don't want to see him
I have had enough
God how can I free him
Again be my old tough

Should I get a new job
When mine is very grand
Feel like I am robbed
As he goes home without the plan

He doesn't want to work for me
Can't even call his doctor today
Not into his sexuality
It's further taking mine away

If he wants to sleep alone
Rise up girl and say
Get some minutes on your phone
Call the ones who want to play

Or forget the guys full force
Women are a kinder breed
Work on a different course
Since he's not here to fill the need.
