There Is A GOD
Many will ask where was GOD when
I lost family and many friends
When evil reared it's ugly head
Destroying lives upon souls fed
Many will cry just to express
No rhyme or reason or even guess
Where was this GOD when bullets took
So many dead at VT shook
Many will blame and point a finger
At GOD who took what still does linger
Inside their heart their only child
Who they once held if for awhile
Many will hate this GOD some feel
Failed to show up to save and heal
The wife, husband, grandparents, friends
Where was this GOD no time to lend
Many will lose all that they had
How something good have gone so bad
Yet not thank GOD for all he's done
Forgetting him, the chosen One
GOD was there to pick you up
To ease your pain. empty your cup
Of sorrow felt and heal your wounds
Of life that scars and some entomb
There is a GOD, the only one
Who made the moon, stars and the Sun
The one who gave you breath of life
That man, woman, your husband, wife
There is a GOD That holds all those
We lost in life for he so chose
To call them home, Heaven a place
Where one day soon you will embrace
All those you thought GOD took from you
The GOD you felt, did not come through
There Is A God!
