Trusting Faith
Some have to see to believe,
But others in faith receive;
For faith strengthens their belief,
That gives their hope the relief.
While some must be seeing,
Before they are believing;
Of all they hear to be true,
With every word that they knew.
Little do they understand,
Their faith is on sinking sand;
Thinking about sight unseen,
Impossible to have been.
Faith is blind you can not see,
Of what has and is to be;
Knowing the truth you have heard,
As found in the Holy Word.
With faith being built on trust,
Of having a belief that you must;
Believe in the triune God,
To love honor and to laud.
