THE CURSE'S COURSE

A mass of cells
Like a blob
Bloody chunks
In the commode
Miscarriage of
Our parents love
That's what we should have
Been or even
To be an abortion
Would have been
Better than
The neglect
We had to suffer
Sucking those masses
Of cells out
Before they
Pulsated would
Have been more
Merciful than:
One whose body hurts
One whose aching for a Savior
One whose a schizophrenic
One whose an alcoholic
One whose a prostitute
See why we all
Should have been
Abortions or
Miscarriages---
Better off to
Not have had
Those cells
Multiply.
