The Gospel
The Gospel
It will make a weak man stand tall
it will fill your heart and your home
or to a non believer
leave you with nothing at all
it's the eyes for the blind
and legs for the broken
it is love wrapped oh so carefully
and pride that overcomes shame
don't you know it now?
the force of the gospel
gospel on the water
why do you think Jesus walked on it?
the gospel is everywhere
from the poor house
to the beautiful garden
I believe....
it don't have to be seen
don't you know it now?
the power of the gospel
and everywhere you look
from the mountains to the trees
there is gospel brimming out
it's there inside you and me
oh ain't it mighty....
the almighty gospel
in the hour of darkness I cried
in the situation of need
for all of creation
comes from the gospel seed
now you may not believe
and that is your choice
but I see....all the wonders
all the miracles
gospel is God
and God is the journey
don't you know it now?
the way of the gospel
and if you don't my friend
well you should.....
