Lord lift my spirits to the sky
And dry these tears from my eyes
Wash away my tears of pain
It's You my Lord whose love remains
Please comfort me when I weep
And give me comfort when I sleep
My heart is broken it needs to heal
Please hear my cries as I reveal

It's very hard to say goodbye
I know that she's up there with you
But still I can't help feeling blue
Please take her hand in Yours for me
And hold her for eternity
And though I cannot see or feel
