And So It Is
And So It Is
And so it is
too many times
over before it begins
lost in space
stuck in a sick spin
And so it is
the end of the road
I look back and smile
but tears are inevitable
looking at the bigger picture
the scene is empty now
so I was the one
your person
the one in your wings
I was not of necessity
but chosen
and over again you did
and over again I let you
what a sometimes
manipulative relationship
but no doubt I loved
done things I never would have thought of
and look at us
beyond lovers....beyond friendship
a bond still not broken
even after all these years
a term I can't quite describe
we known each other
I am sure...maybe even married
in another lifetime
and so it is
will always be
the one to rescue me
the one in my untouchable dreams
and so it is
just ocean blue
dialogue never desperate for words
and a story that never ends.....
