God helps me through those times
My emotions run wild
The sun evaporating over my skin
The cloud forming lightly over me
More emotions and sensitivity filling inside of me
I turn to God
God is like an umbrella
Protects me from myself
From Satan
From all around me
When my emotions drain
God saves me from turmoil
Saves me from drowning
God gave mankind the knowledge
When it rains
We need to know when we pray its a blessing in the rain
Water to drink is the answer
To clean ourselves and dilute our drinks
To clean our homes to drink our medicine
So much more i can go on forever
The prayer in the rain is accepted
At times we don't want to be drenched
Some fabrics are dry cleaned
The newspaper gets wet and useless
Magazines are better, but the colours will run into our clothes
So God gave mankind the knowledge to make the Umbrella
Keeps us dry and warmer
It protects us in many ways
Its your own way it can protect
It can protect my hair from frizzing under my scarf
Protects me from other pollution we cannot see
God is my umbrella
He had the knowledge and passed it on to mankind
They invented it
Its God we should be thanking...
