 JANET'S PLANET

Where Is Everybody Going?

cars passing by, rushing here and rushing there
blinkers flashing, head lights
right turn signals, left turn signals
what would we do if it was not for the automobile?
rules of the road, what are they?
courtesy while driving, what is this?
detours, traffic lights, fast lanes, slow lanes, break down lanes
tailgating, bumper to bumper
all this on the highways, expressways
speed limits, yield signs, stop signs
caution signs, all kinds of signs
where is everybody going?
rushing to to get to work, rushing to get home
rushing to get somewhere, where?
will we ever get to where we are going?
tomorrow we start the rush all over again
where are we going, all in a rush?
